This blog has been set up to identify and discuss strategies and ways for kids to earn money, so that they can start learning and appreciating the value of money and grow up to be entreprenuers.
Money Toolkits’ vision is to create positive generational change by helping families and young adults improve their Financial IQ.
Our Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) is to be the No 1 Global On-line School that provides effective, easy-to-use and affordable financial education products for parents, kids and young adults.
Money Toolkits was founded through a series of coincidences leading to a group of like minded people meeting. We discovered we all wanted to make a difference through helping young people learn the financial literacy we all felt we should have learnt when we were at school. After presenting trainings to teenagers, we realised we also wanted to help parents teach their children the value of money at an early age.
The team at Money Toolkits has collectively spent large amounts of time and money learning from experts all over the world and have carefully selected the ‘diamonds’ that we value and use in our everyday lives to be included in our courses.
We focus on fun and accelerated learning techniques and are continually looking for the differences that make the difference when parents and kids are learning about wealth creation.
The team at Money Toolkits is excited about developing a whole suite of resources to increase Financial IQ for families.
Nicole has worked in the financial planning industry since 1999. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning. She is also a Master in Neuro-linguistic Programming and Results Coaching.
Her passion for educating children and parents was realised while working as a Technical Manager for a large financial institution. This role involved teaching financial planners a broad range of complex strategies for their clients.
Before creating Money Toolkits, she was a financial planner with independent businesses and has also worked for one of the top Australian banks for more than four years.
When it comes to money management and investing, Nicole teaches based on her personal experiences and translates the complex world of financial management into simple and easy to follow information and systems.
Nicole is a dynamic and exciting young presenter and her courses are always high energy.
Her dedication to improving her own financial knowledge and skills involves seeking high quality specialist trainings within Australia and overseas. She has traveled to Canada and the USA to work with some of the top people in the field of wealth creation and financial management. These professionals include: T Harv Eker, Christopher Howard, Bob Proctor, Loral Langemeier and John Burley.
Nicole believes in and practices continuous improvement in all areas of her life. She is committed to empowering families with relevant, up to date and practical financial strategies through presenting her financial literacy courses.
Over the past 3 years, Nicole has been speaking to a number of schools around South East Queensland to teach the senior school students how to manage their money and the importance of doing this. In addition to that, she has also delivered trainings to companies (such as Hungry Jack’s, the Young Carers Project and Sarina Russo) who employ a large number of Gen Y employees.
Helene has worked in the education industry for over 25 years and has held management positions for the majority of that time. Her leadership, management and marketing experience coupled with her teaching and learning in the creative and visual arts, provides her with a valuable skill set for management positions that requires someone to ‘think outside the square’.
Helene is highly qualified and holds a number of qualifications, including a Graduate Diploma in Educational Administration, Associated Certified Meta-Coach (ACMC), Master in Neuro-linguistic Programming and Results Coaching.
One of Helene’s passions is to help indiviudal members’ of families create their own personal power through gaining the understanding that they own their own learning and that when they focus on what they really want in life, they can achieve what they really want more quickly. She believes we are all life long learners and financial IQ is important for everyone to develop given the materialistic world in which we live. We all should learn the rules of the game of life we are living daily! It’s never about the money – it’s all about what having it or not having money means for your quality of life and ability to contribute.
Believing “we are either growing or dying” she regularly attends high quality specialised trainings both within Australia and overseas to continually improve her own knowledge and skill set.
